Hello, I’m Lucy Reynolds! A children’s author and book creator with a love of poetry and nature
Growing up on a small farm in Somerset, I developed my love of nature roaming free in the great outdoors. This fascination with all things wild drew me to study the two great noticers of nature, Thomas Hardy and G.M. Hopkins, for my PhD in nineteenth century poetry at Oxford University.
From academic research I pursued a career in publishing, thought leadership and project management before launching a career in children’s books where I am represented by wonderful agent, Penny Holroyde.
Today, I write, teach and co-direct the Stepping Into Stories Kids’ Lit Fest in London. Through this work I unlock children’s potential to achieve amazing things through a lifelong love of reading.
I hope you’ll enjoy exploring my website and discovering how we might work together…
